Tanya Stephens is one of the most in fluential reggae artist since the late '90's! She is defintley one of my top choices. Stephens is most know for her hits such as " Yuh Nuh Ready Fi Dis Yet" of the Reggae Gold '97 compilation album, and my favorite song of all "It's a Pitty" from Gangsta Blues, which achieved Stephens international recognition as a ONE OF A KIND ARTIST!! From there she went to release her album Rebelution in 06 & the first single " These Streets" was a #1 hit in the Caribbean for more than 4 weeks. In 2007 to 2008 we saw a relatively silent Tanya, prefering to focus on maintaining the sincerity of her music as opposed to flooding the market in hope of scoring a commerical hit as most artist do.
