HOPE ENT. GROUP brought one of the dopest afterparties in a long time to ATX! Amp Live (Zion I) spun along side the local Mad Classy crew at Beauty Bar 2/26. It was a perfect way to end an unforgettable show at Stubbs with Rebelution.

Zion I is currently on tour with new reggae group Rebelution so what's a better way to continue an awesome night but to have an afterparty HOPE ENT. style! That is exactly what they did all night long. Stayed Tuned to hear more HOPE ENT. shows and afterparties!!!!

WORK




Cali Zack & N/A are at it again, bringing you one of the hottest compliation CDs; entitled WORK. Probably one of the best I have heard in a minute! WORK consists of Cali Zack & N/A ft. Keelow, Mex, Lester Roy, Sertified, Cham Holmes, Brooks City, Makman, and S. Killz.

Dont get me wrong I have MAD love for my local rappers, but these boys are bringing it to you to the fullest. It represents the dirty south, and is a hot banger. The production is more than up to par, & the minute you put this in your car or wherever; iPod, stereo, computer you will not want to take it out!

Shout outs to SCOREMORE ATX



Shouts out to SCOREMORE ATX for doing it big two days in a row! Sascha Stone Guttfreund did it again!


First off with STEVE AOKI one of the most known DJ's around the country. The Miami native came to ATX thanks to SCOREMORE and represented as he does and brought you I'M IN THE HOUSE NORTH AMERICAN TOUR. He has worked with many main stream artist and awarded many awards. The house was packed at Republic Live, and the vibe was strong. Aoki who is behind Dim Mak Records has founded many artists from Bloc Party, to MSTRKRFT and many more, he has remixed The Killers, Lenny Kravitz, Duran Duran, Timbaland, All American Regject, and tons more. As well as collaborating with artist such as The Faint, Boys Noize, etc. The man even dabbles in fashion. He is a genius and his work proves it. Thanks to Sascha of SCOREMORE ATX you got to witness a genius at work!

Next up was WALE!!!!






SCOREMORE brought you WALE again to REPUBLIC LIVE! Wow this was an amazing show, I was unable to go but from everyone I know that went I heard nothing but amazing reviews!!!! Ofcouse DC's finest rapper would put it down. Playing songs from his previous work to his most current work off the new album Attention Deficit, which was release on Nov. 10, 2009. It debuted at the #21 spot and sold 28,000 copies in its FIRST WEEK. The single off Attention Deficit was "Chillin" ft. Lady Gaga, and follwed by "Pretty Girls" ft. Gucci Mane & Weensey my favorite on the whole album. You know he rocked the house and gave ATX an amazing show. All thanks to SCOREMORE for bringing WALE to you the fans of ATX hip hop.

Proper Entertainment in association with HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere) present The Rebirth Brass Band!

"Simply put, The Rebirth Brass Band is a New Orleans institution. Formed in 1983 by the now infamous Frazier brothers, the band has evolved from playing the streets of the French Quarter to playing festivals and stages all over the world. Rebirth is committed to upholding the tradition of brass bands while at the same time incorporating modern music into their show. Their signature brand of heavy funk has not only won over several generations of music lovers, it has become the soundtrack to an entire city."

Hosted by Zeale with an opening set by Tavana, the night will be closed out by DJ's ORION and KID SLYCE. GREAT LIVE MUSIC followed by a few of our favorite local performers equals a can't miss night.
